Upper Body Circuit is an endurance workout using dumbbells and a stability ball. There are 3 rounds in the workout with 5 exercises in each round. Each exercise is performed for 50 seconds and then there is a 10 transition period for a 15 minute workout. The exercises were selected and placed in order to work opposing muscles from one exercise to the next allowing for faster recovery. This is the perfect upper body express workout. Programming Tips: Circuits are a great way to get a lot of exercises performed in a relatively short amount of time. It’s also a great way to boost the metabolism as you can do the exercises one right after the other. This is a great workout for those who can only workout out 2 or 3 times per week, especially when combined with a Lower Body Circuit. Weights should be chosen so that you are fully fatigued at the end of each 50 second period.
