Description: Scissors is part of the Ab Series on the Mat that primarily focuses on strengthening your abs and hip flexors. ?It? challenging because of the longer levers and the coordination involved.Start Position: Begin supine with you upper torso in flexion, lumbar in neutral (or slightly flexed) and legs together and reaching toward the ceiling. ?Your arms are reaching for your ankles.To Perform the Exercise: Exhale as you split the legs and reach one toward the floor and the other closer to you. ?Both legs will pulse away from each other twice as the end range and your hands will guide the leg closer toward you at the ankles or as close to them as you can reach. ?Inhale as the legs pass each other on the switch and exhale as you pulse them away. ?Complete 8-10 repetitions.
