This workout is part of a series called Ranch Mat, Level 2. This series was developed because I was a guest Pilates Instructor at Rancho La Puerta for a week. During that week I taught a 45-minute, Pilates Level 2 class each day. There are six workouts in this series. This fourth workout is entirely on the Arc Barrel. You’ll see traditional Pilates Mat exercises, Pilates-Inspired exercises, and exercises from the world of fitness.
My goal was to teach an intermediate level workout to students who have some Pilates experience. I kept a record of each workout I developed and taught at the Ranch and turned them into a series for John Garey TV. I hope you enjoy the series.
The workout is 36 minutes in length and includes 49 exercises. It is designed as a full body intermediate level workout for students with some pilates experience. Throughout the video programming tips are given on how to present the exercises and the purpose for the selections made. Not all exercises are for everyone, so pick and choose which ones will work best for your client and / or group.
