This workout is part of a series called Ranch Mat, Level 1. This series was developed because I was a guest Pilates Instructor at Rancho La Puerta for a week. During that week I taught a 45-minute, progressive Pilates Mat Level 1 class each day. There are six workouts in this series. This third workout uses a Flex-Band™, a Fitness Circle™ and Toning Balls. My goal was to teach the beginner Mat workout in a way that would have participants coming back each day. I kept a copy of all of my class notes and turned them into a series for John Garey TV. I hope you enjoy the series.
The workout is 39 minutes in length. It is designed as a full body workout to introduce Pilates to new participants. Throughout the video programming tips are given on how to present the exercises and the purpose for the selections made. Not all exercises are for everyone, so pick and choose which ones will work best for your client and / or group.
