This Intermediate Express Mat workout is a fast paced workout for those on the go and who want a challenging workout. It’s also great as an add on to other workouts, like cardio, strength or Pilates Equipment. Most of the exercises come from traditional mat with a few variations and combinations thrown in. In this program we also focus on transitions from one exercise to another for fluidity. This is a full body workout. Programming Tips This program can be performed daily or it can be added to other workouts for a more complete program - for instance cardio, strength training, Pilates equipment, etc. I do believe that matwork should be completed at least a couple of times per week to get the most benefit for Pilates. Please be sure that you or your clients and classes are ready for all of these exercises. Proper assessment and progressions must be completed with each participant in order to assure a safe and effective workout.
