This workshop uses a Band, Circle and Mini Ball with Pilates exercises to add variety and challenge. All of these props have something in common. They all share the properties of elastic. And many of these qualities are things Pilates participants also desire. For instance, the Resistance Band is used because it offers both strength and flexibility. The Ball can move in any direction with the same ease and also shows balance. And, finally the Pilates Circle is a continuous ring with no beginning or end, symbolizing fluid movement. In this programming workshop, which is also a complete full body workout, we?ll be exploring all of the properties of elastic and those that are unique to each of the props used.
