This advanced moving plank and push-up and works the entire front of the body. Master a plank and push-up on the floor before attempting this on the Reformer. This exercise is more challenging on the Reformer than on the floor because your feet are higher than your hands, meaning more weight is on your upper body. YouÌÎÌ_Ì´å«re also on a moving surface, which makes this exercise much more challenging than on the floor.Start Position: To start, place your hands on the shoulder rests and your balls of your feet on the footbar in a turned out position. Push the carriage out until you are in a plank position.To Perform the Exercise:To begin, inhale and flex your elbows to do a push-up. Next, exhale as you push the carriage out keeping your body at the same level from the carriage. Then continue to exhale as you bring the carriage back to the start position with straight arms. Complete a few repetitions and then reverse the movement.
