Chair Challenge is a full body workout is designed to challenge your athletic and fit clients. It focuses on strength, balance, and mobility. We start with familiar territory, warming up the legs and then continue focusing on the legs with exercises that challenge strength, balance, and mobility. Next we we move into exercises that focus on the upper body. Iåve come up with some unique Pilates and Fitness crossover exercises. The Plank work is particularly challenging. Finally we bring our full focus to the core, borrowing some of the Ab series from the Mat work and kicking it up a notch performing it on the chair. Complete this workout on its own, or add it to other equipment or mat workouts.Programming Tips:The recommended springs are for MerrithewÌ´ equipment. Other manufacturerås equipment will need different springs. Please be sure that you or your clients and classes are ready for all of the exercises. Proper assessment of your clients is essential prior to beginning any work out program. Appropriate regressions and progressions and/or exercise omissions must be used with participants when necessary, in order to assure a safe and effective workout.
