This workout is for the 60+ clients who are just beginning a workout program, or for those who are coming back after a break. These basic exercises are modified for the most common conditions of this group. This workout will focus on Pilates principles, as well as, mobilization of the spine, core strength, and strengthening the periphery. Programming Tips: The recommended springs are for a STOTT PILATES® Reformer. Other manufacturer’s Reformers will need different springs. Please be sure that you or your clients and classes are ready for all of these exercises. Proper assessment and progressions must be completed with each participant in order to assure a safe and effective workout.
