This is an advanced fitness workout that focuses on the abs specifically. Sarah Swain, our Studio Manager, joins John in this workout and these are her top 5 go-to ab exercises. It’s really challenging. Let’s have some fun! Programming Tips: Please be sure that you or your clients and classes are ready for all of these exercises. Proper assessment and progressions must be completed with each participant in order to assure a safe and effective workout. This workout can be performed every other day, or can be added to any full body workout. You can also do all of the other workouts in the ab series in progression for more variety.

This Reformer Workout is a fun marriage of the fitness and Pilates worlds. You’ll see unique variations using the reformers and lots of exercises that focus on leg and arm strength, and of course core. This is an intermediate full body. I'm joined by Sarah Swain, Studio Manage and Instructor at John Garey Fitness and Pilates. Programming Tips: The recommended springs are for a STOTT PILATES® Reformer. Other manufacturer’s Reformers will need different springs. Be sure that you or your clients and classes are ready for all of these exercises.
